Kano state government has coordinated the Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi 11 to quickly start a procedure of allocating the four Kano Kingmakers as District Heads of Local Governments under the purview of the Kano Emirate Council.
Concurring letter marked by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Alhaji Usman Alhaji dated March 2, 2020, the influenced Kingmakers are Alhaji Mukhtar Adnan, Alhaji Yusuf Nabahani Ibrahim Chigari, Alhaji Abdullahi Ibrahim and Alahji Abubakar Bello Tuta.
The letter entitled, “Appointing The Former Kano Kingmakers To Relevant Local Government Councils Under The Jurisdiction Of Kano Emirate,” routed to Emir Sanusi, encouraged him to consent to the mandate.
The letter peruses: “Following the production of four extra Emirates in the state and because of specific improvements, the previous Kano kingmakers are currently under the space of Kano Emirate.
“Right now, wish to separately ask for, His Highness to start the way toward doling out the four kingmakers as District Heads inside the Local Governments under the purview of the Kano Emirate.
